Rolls-Royce partners with SNC on U.S. Air Force Survivable Airborne Operations Center

Rolls-Royce today announced it is part of the team, led by prime contractor SNC, that is supporting the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) recapitalization program for the United States Air Force. The SAOC aircraft provides top military leaders with a highly survivable command, control and communications platform to direct U.S. forces in the midst of a potential national emergency.

The SAOC aircraft is a key component of the National Military Command System, serving as the National Airborne Operations Center.
