Elbit America to Produce Next-Gen Hubs for US Army

Next-Gen Hubs to provide power, integration among Army Nett Warrior solutions

The United States Army awarded Elbit Systems of America (Elbit America) a five-year fixed-price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract to produce 33,000 Next Generation Hubs (NGH) for dismounted Soldiers, providing integrated data and power distribution in a light wearable, and reliable package. Orders for first article test units and production units were received. All ordered production units will be delivered by November 2024, and work on the hubs will be done out of the company’s Fort Worth, Texas facility.

Elbit America President and CEO Raanan Horowitz said, “Elbit America is a key Soldier systems integrator. Our team understands the critical balance of equipping Soldiers with wearable solutions that enhance operations, while keeping solutions powerful and lightweight. The Next Generation Hub is one more example of our company’s commitment to providing utility in form factors that are compact, yet robust.”

The NGH is a rugged Universal Serial Bus (USB) that links and powers Soldiers’ various wearable solutions, as part of the U.S. Army’s Nett Warrior (NW) program. The NW systems are designed to provide situational awareness to infantry combat leaders, while keeping them connected to Brigade Combat Teams with computer processing, data storage, user display, and navigation.
