Comtech Receives $1.3 M Contract for Military Ku-band TWTA Systems

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today, that during its second quarter of fiscal 2020, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a contract valued at $1.3 million for rack mounted Ku-band high-power traveling wave tube amplifier (“TWTA”) systems for a military satellite communications ground system.

“The versatility of Comtech Xicom Technology’s touch screen amplifiers can be seen in this multi-amp system,” said Fred Kornberg, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. "The end-customer is happy with the technical performance of the Comtech design and has come back to us for additional installations.”
