The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded CSRA LLC, a subsidiary of CSRA Inc. (NYSE: CSRA) a $59 million task order in support of its Research and Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05). The Task Order has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
"We are proud to enter our fourth decade supporting all facets of ship design for the U.S. Navy," said Executive Vice President Ken Deutsch, Head of CSRA's Defense Group. "This win is a testament to our team. By awarding this task order for the fourth consecutive time, the Navy has reaffirmed CSRA's commitment to NAVSEA and our dedication to their mission."
NAVSEA is the largest of the Navy's five system commands. For more than 220 years, NAVSEA and its predecessor organizations have been responsible for the design, construction, delivery, maintenance, and disposal of ships and ship systems for America's Navy. It is tasked with engineering, building, buying and maintaining ships, submarines, and combat systems.
