Ulrich Sasse retires after 37 years

Ulrich Sasse is retiring after 37 successful years at Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH in Bremen. Under his leadership, the company’s Simulation and Training business unit has emerged as a complete, globally leading supplier of military and civilian simulation and training solutions. Thanks to a successful policy of internationalization, the company now has customers in over forty countries, and is present in multiple important sales regions on every continent with its own subsidiaries and representatives.

Effective 1 August 2017, Gordon Hargreave succeeds Ulrich Sasse as member of the board of management of Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH. He will simultaneously serve as chairman of the board, to which Helmut Möring and Thorsten Quade (CFO) also belong. Gordon Hargreave likewise heads the Electronic Solutions division and is a member of the executive board of Rheinmetall Defence, the defence technology arm of Rheinmetall AG of Düsseldorf.

Rheinmetall Electronics has around 1,200 employees in Bremen.
