Engility to Support Hovercraft for US Navy

Contract expands Engility's model-based engineering offerings

Engility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:EGL), today announced it has been awarded a $29 million contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), delivering a broad spectrum of engineering services for Air Cushion Vehicles (ACV)—the landing craft used by the U.S. Navy to move materiel and personnel from ship to shore and across the beach.

Awarded in the second quarter, this new 5-year cost-plus-fixed-fee contract encompasses legacy work Engility is delivering on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC)-1 Class and broadens work into the new Ship-to-Shore Connector LCAC-100 Class. Engility’s Expeditionary Solutions team will provide Expeditionary Warfare Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Navigation, & Electrical (C4N&E) services, including the entire model-based engineering lifecycle ranging from requirements development to engineering design and from development to fleet support.

“This win allows Engility to expand our model-based engineering portfolio to include the next generation of Navy hovercraft, which provide vital transportation for weapons systems, personnel, cargo and equipment from ship to shore,” said Engility CEO Lynn Dugle. “The NSWC PCD is a valued customer, and Engility looks forward to supporting their mission with highly specialized experts with world-class credentials.”
