CACI to Support Counter Narco-Terrorism for US CENTCOM

Work Will Help CENTCOM, Other COCOMS Disrupt Narco-Terrorism Networks

CACI International Inc ( NYSE MKT: CACI ) announced today it has been awarded a multi-million task order contract to continue supporting counter narco-terrorism (CNT) work for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in Afghanistan and other Combatant Commands (COCOMs). This task order was awarded under the Rapid Response 3 rd Generation contract vehicle and expands CACI’s business in its Intelligence Services market area.

The CNT mission of CENTCOM and other COCOMs involves establishing and supporting CNT networks and infrastructure, protecting U.S. Armed Forces conducting CNT work, and providing law enforcement training to host nations to disrupt narco-terrorist activities and organizations. CACI will provide support in such areas as program management, advisement, training, and logistics for both CENTCOM and its military and civilian partner agencies.

CACI offers CENTCOM a full cadre of CNT subject matter experts. This team consists of former top-ranking military officers and officials from civilian agencies intimately involved in CNT work. The high-level experience of CACI personnel in combatting drug trafficking and terrorism gives them the functional expertise to support the U.S. military in developing measurable methods and goals for the program. This award expands the CNT mission from Central Asia to additional areas of interest.
