Rohde & Schwarz Awarded Contract by Israel Airports Authority for QPS201 Security Scanners

Rohde & Schwarz, the leading manufacturer of cutting-edge millimeter-wave personnel screening solutions used at airports, government buildings, correction facilities, data centers, and high-security applications, has been awarded a contract by the Israel Airport Authority (IAA) to supply multiple QPS201 security scanners to passenger security screening checkpoints at IAA sites.

QPS201 quick personnel security scanners are already successfully deployed at Ben Gurion Airport and Allenby Border Crossing and more are planned to be rolled out at passenger security lanes across IAA sites. Installation of QPS201 will enable IAA to achieve its vision of a secure and safe environment while providing a positive experience for passengers, by making the screening process as fast and efficient as possible.

“This contract sets an important milestone in Israel”, said Yariv Niv, General Manager of Rohde & Schwarz Israel. “We are proud to take part in enhancing the security processes across IAA sites and expanding QPS201 presence worldwide.”
