We have secured a four-year contract extension with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA), reinforcing our long-standing partnership and continued commitment to delivering life-saving helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) across the region.
We will continue to provide HIOWAA with a fully equipped Airbus H135 helicopter, featuring advanced Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) technology, comprehensive maintenance, aircraft safety and compliance, and highly skilled aviation personnel. The service will maintain its 19-hour daily operational capability, ensuring critical care reaches those in need – day or night.
As part of the contract extension, we are supporting HIOWAA through its relocation to a new base of operations near Southampton Airport. This move will better position the charity to respond rapidly across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, enhancing its ability to save lives and serve the community more effectively.
