Hanwha Aerospace and Vertical Aerospace to Collaborate On Electric Aircraft System

Hanwha Aerospace today announced that ithas signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Vertical Aerospace tolaborate on jointly developing, testing and manufacturing the tilting andblade system for VX4, Vertical Aerospace’s electric aircraft. The MoA wassigned at the 2023 Paris Air Show, following last year’s successful partnershipfocused on EMA development.

The tilting systemis an essential component of the electric Vertical Take Off and Landing(eVTOL),enabling it to per its unique flight mode. The blade system plays a key rolein enhancing stability and overall perance of the eVTOL.
