CAE today announced plans to expand its business aviation training network with a new facility in Central Europe. The centre will have a capacity for up to six full-flight simulators, offering advanced pilot training on the latest light- and large-segment business jets. The new business aviation training centre, the company’s first in the region, is scheduled to open in the second half of 2024.
“CAE’s new training centre in Central Europe will add much-needed training capacity in the region and bring us closer to where our customers operate their aircraft,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President, Civil Aviation. “CAE is expanding its business aviation training network in strategic locations to help the industry meet the global requirement for an additional 45,000 business aviation pilots over the next ten years.”
This announcement marks another milestone in the expansion of CAE’s business aviation training network. On April 4, 2023, CAE inaugurated its first U.S. West Coast business aviation training centre in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a new facility in Savannah, Georgia is set to open later this year.
