Estonian Xfly Opts for Patria's Pilot Training

Patria will provide Estonian based Xfly, a leading capacity provider for airlines in Europe, training of future ATR 72 First Officers. Patria´s training will be based on Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) programme for students starting their studies before the end of 2023. Patria will train the cadets, coming mainly from Sweden and Denmark, at its locations in Finland and Spain. The first group will start their studies in September 2022.

”Partnership with Xfly is highly international, which is a good indication of our ability to serve our foreign airline customers. In addition, we are now expanding our MPL training portfolio to include ATR 72 aircraft”, says Mats Warstedt Senior Vice President for Patria’s Nordics market area.

”Aviation industry is growing and we see a great demand for new and skilled pilots on the market. This demand will increase in the coming years. To become a pilot is one of the most interesting journeys to young people towards a professional career and Xfly is ready to offer a job for graduated newcomers. This is the fastest way to the cockpit as a professional pilot. We are very pleased of having Patria’s Pilot Training, one of the best flying schools in Europe, as our partner”, states Jan Palmer, CEO at Xfly.
