“This collaboration reflects the strength of our trusted partnership and our deep connection to the CRJ program’s legacy,” said Jason Lambert, President, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, L3Harris. “It’s especially meaningful that the same hangars that produced the first CRJ900 prototype will now support its continued evolution through this important modification work.”

“In the current context, this agreement demonstrates Quebec’s exceptional ability to continue attracting major private investment and partnerships in strategic sectors such as aerospace,” said Christine Fréchette, Minister of Economy, Innovation, and Energy. “It is thanks to such collaborations between companies that our aerospace ecosystem, one of the most dynamic in the world, can remain a driver of growth, innovation, and prosperity for all Quebecers.”

Aircraft inductions are underway at the facility. L3Harris and MHIRJ are exploring additional near-term projects that will strengthen this agreement and expand opportunities such as heavy maintenance and engineering services for the CRJ program.
