On Monday October 6, in Brussels, ArianeGroup and Sabca signed a new supply contract for the Ariane 6 operational phase, to secure Europe's access to space in the years ahead. The agreement covers the supply of nozzle activation systems for the main engines that will equip the main and upper stages of Ariane 6 flight models from 16 to 42.
The Franco-German space technologies leader ArianeGroup has selected its key industrial partner in Belgium to support the industrial ramp-up of Europe's new heavy-lift launcher.
This renewed collaboration builds on a long-standing partnership between ArianeGroup and Sabca, the Brussels-based aerospace supplier that has already played a major role in previous Ariane programmes.
