Comtech Wins $1.5 M Award for Military SATCOM TWTAs

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that during it second quarter of fiscal 2019, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, has received a contract for more than $1.5 million for Ku and Ka-band high-power traveling wave tube amplifiers (“TWTAs”) for a transportable satellite communications ground system.

"We are proud to receive this follow-on order from a U.S. military system integrator,” said Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. “Comtech Xicom Technology is committed to providing reliable and efficient TWTAs for military applications."
