Mercury Receives $2.1M RF Microelectronics Order for Airborne EW Application

Mercury Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MRCY) (www.mrcy.com), announced it received a $2.1 million order for SWaP-optimized multi-function radio frequency (RF) modules from a leading defense prime contractor for an airborne electronic warfare application. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2018 fourth quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

The Company offers a broad portfolio of advanced microelectronics solutions for electronic warfare applications addressing the analog, digital, and mixed-signal domains. Mercury’s scalable Advanced Microelectronics Centers leverage tightly integrated engineering and manufacturing resources to provide long-term supply continuity of affordable, high-performance RF and microwave components, modules, and pre-integrated subsystems for electronic warfare, radar and weapons applications.

“Receiving this order reflects Mercury’s commitment to leveraging its next-generation business model to commercialize innovations that matter for our nation’s most advanced electronic warfare programs,” said Kevin Beals, Vice President of Mercury’s RF and Microwave group. “Our Advanced Microelectronics Centers are honored to provide our warfighters with the most sophisticated capabilities required to dominate the electromagnetic battlefield in congested and highly contested environments around the world.”
