Why You Should Attend this Year's Summit:

Our Advanced Materials for Defense Summit will serve as an educational forum for personnel from DoD, Military Services, Federal Agencies, and Industry to discuss the efforts to facilitate and implement technology-based options for advanced materials and manufacturing processes. The utilization of these strategic materials and engineering processes will help to drive down manufacturing costs and improve sustainability and readiness capabilities for the Warfighter.

Strategic materials and manufacturing processes are helping to advance current and future DoD logistics operations. Developing intuitive technologies to assist these operations is essential. With additional funding being designated to develop these advanced processes, there has come a greater push to ensure life cycle management for all major weapons systems and service platforms across the Military. Critical materials and manufacturing processes maintenance is vital to the maintaining and developing of US defensive capabilities.

To maximize the end products and enhanced capabilities these strategic materials and engineering processes have to offer, increased research and understanding of their knowledge gaps must occur. This will in turn provide the U.S. Military with greater operational flexibility and assist in the overall readiness capabilities of the Warfighter going forward.

Join us for this year's Advanced Materials for Defense Summit to discuss the DoD's plan to address the opportunities and challenges it will face, in trying to enhance the defensive industrial base with advanced materials and manufacturing processes.

At our Summit you will have the ability to

  • Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing our advanced materials community.
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.
  • Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas
