According to a recent report by Frost and Sullivan, the continuing demand for mixed reality training is the main driver for investment and innovation in the military training and simulation market.  To meet this demand Kratos integrates advanced immersive reality technologies into course curricula with motion-based platforms to deliver a fully immersive training experience for aircrew operations trainees. Contributing to the need for additional space, Kratos’ training staff has grown by 40 percent at its Orlando facility, with approximately 200 working locally and over 100 currently, or soon to be, deployed globally to support global growth.

“Immersive training is reaching a high level of realism thanks to cutting edge technology like mixed reality and VR,” said Jose Diaz, Vice President, Kratos Training Solutions. “As customers experience the efficiency and cost effectiveness we can offer, and the training excellence these technologies can deliver, demand has increased. We continue to invest in technology advancement and are expanding to meet that demand.”

Kratos’ Orlando facility offers the most advanced blended training option available, including simulations and digital experiences, as well as classroom and hands-on instruction. Military personnel are trained through virtual, augmented and mixed realities, as well as replicated physical controls that together create a realistic, immersive experience designed to prepare them to lead combat support missions efficiently and confidently.
