Contract to Support Next Gen Weapons Testing Program

Technica brings engineering and innovation to support ''No-Fail'' mission

Technica Corporation, a leader in high-end-systems engineering and operations and maintenance for mission-critical networks, today announced it was awarded a $22 million NETCENTS – 2 Network Operations Small Business task order by the U.S. Air Force. Technica will provide airborne networking; systems, processes and operations; and network defense to support cyber-readiness and cybersecurity to the Combined Air Operations Center – Experimental (CAOC – X) at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

“Technica will ensure mission readiness and assurance to the critical networks and systems vital to the U.S. Air Force and national security,” said Technica President and Chief Executive Officer Miguel Collado. “The Combined Air Operations Center provides the command and control of airpower throughout Iraq, Afghanistan and 18 other nations, and we are proud to support missions worldwide.”

The CAOC – X tests next generation weapons and operating systems, are deployed across Air, Space, Joint and Combined Air Operations Centers globally. The contract has a base year value of nearly $4 million and three option years with a total contract ceiling value of $22 million. Phantom Eagle, has experience with the CAOC – since 2006 and is providing sub-contracting support. The Technica Team will enhance operational efficiency as well as bring several new innovations that will uphold and improve mission assurance, including:
