Leidos Wins Contracts from USAF for Comprehensive Environmental Engineering Services

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), an infrastructure, national security and health solutions company, was awarded a prime contract by the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency to provide environmental services for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a combined, maximum ceiling of $500 million. Leidos is one of multiple contractors eligible to compete for work under this contract.

"We have maintained a strong relationship with the Air Force for decades," said Jim Moos, senior vice president and operations manager of Leidos' infrastructure and engineering business. "Our team has proven to be vital solutions providers for AFCEC's environmental and other missions."

AFCEC is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC's mission includes facility investment planning; design and construction; operations support; real property management; readiness; energy support; environmental compliance and restoration; and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide Title I and Title II design services for environmental construction projects, as well as a full range of environmental services, including the implementation of restoration; pollution prevention and compliance; and conservation environmental projects.
