Subsystem Technologies Awarded ARDEC, RPTI Acquisition Contract

Subsystem Technologies, Inc. (SUBSYSTEMs) announced it has been awarded an Army Rapid Prototyping and Technology Initiative (RPTI) contract as part of a major Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L) Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) Strategic Sourcing Initiative. RPTI is designed to increase the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) responsiveness to meeting the soldier's immediate field requirements.

Under RPTI, SUBSYSTEMs will provide the Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey ARDEC program office with materials and services necessary to support the Global War on Terror (GWOT). This vehicle supports the ARDEC mission to rapidly respond to customer needs for armament related products and services, including lethal and counter-lethal solutions for our warfighters who are on the front lines.

As one of the specialized research, development and engineering centers within the U.S. Army Materiel Command, ARDEC is an internationally-acknowledged hub for the advancement of armament technology and engineering innovation. ARDEC's workforce provides lifecycle support for nearly 90 percent of the U.S. Army's weapons and munitions.

Winning RPTI is a testimony to the successes achieved by our staff and team; we are proud and will do the very best for our military.”

“Today’s ever-changing threats on the battlefield, as well as the surges in response to shifting military environments, require ARDEC to deliver the rapid prototypes and technology innovations to its customers within weeks of receiving the requirements,” said Indra Nayee, SUBSYSTEMs Director for Defense Operations. “We are very excited about this opportunity and as an accomplished integrator with the management experience, technical skills and history of rapid response to the warfighter; we will continue to provide ARDEC with a comprehensive solution for rapid prototyping and system integration under the RPTI contract.”
