SAIC Awarded $105 M Supply Chain Management Contract by DLA

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded Science Applications International Corp. an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide tailored logistics support (TLS) for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) requirements at Department of Defense (DoD) and federal installations located in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The single-award, firm-fixed-price contract has a five-year period of performance and an estimated total contract value of $105 million.
At SAIC, we empower our people to apply their integrity, mission understanding, and creativity to change the way innovation happens.

"SAIC has provided MRO TLS services to the south central region since the program's inception in 1998.  We are pleased to continue to provide industry-leading logistics and supply chain management support to our DLA customers," said Mark Escobar, SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the DoD Agencies and Commands Customer Group.

The MRO TLS program allows its customers to order supplies and equipment in order to fulfill their missions. Under the contract, SAIC will employ commercial business practices to reduce total MRO logistics cost to DLA Troop Support and its customers. SAIC will provide sourcing, procurement and delivery of MRO supplies and incidental MRO services to DoD and federal entities in the south central region of the United States. Retail storefront services are also included in SAIC's offering.
