Boecore wins Space and Missile Defense contract

Boecore Inc. has been awarded a Space and Missile Defense Advisory and Assistance Services (SMDA2S) contract from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) / Army Forces Strategic Command (ARSTRAT).

Boecore is one of four awardees on the SMDA2S (multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quality) contract, which is valued at approximately $496 million over a five-year period.  The work will primarily be performed in Colorado Springs, Huntsville, Ala., Texas, and the National Capital Region.

Boecore will provide technical, advisory, assistance and operational support services for various missions  including missile defense, global strike, cyber operations, warfighter training, friendly force tracking and commercial imagery, to name a few.

Boecore's Dan Corey will serve as program manager for the SMDA2S contract. Corey, a retired Lieutenant Colonel and certified project management professional, has more than 26 years of active-duty Army and private-industry leadership, including previous service with USASMDC/ARSTRAT.

"Winning this contract allows Boecore to further support SMDC/ARSTRAT by providing exceptional technical capabilities and expertise in support of their mission needs," said Kathy Boe, CEO of Boecore.

In 2012, Boecore won the single award, Command Information Management System II (CIMS II) contract providing IT services to SMDC/ARSTRAT, with a contract ceiling of $30 million.
