ArdentMC Awarded Geospatial Concept of Operations Task Order Under The DHS Geospatial Technical Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement

Ardent Management Consulting (ArdentMC) announced today that it was awarded a task order for operations, maintenance and further development of the Homeland Security Geospatial Concept of Operations (GeoCONOPS) under the DHS Geospatial Technical Support Services (GTSS) BPA.  The three (3) year task order continues the essential mission of coordinating geospatial information requirements for the Federal, State and local level Homeland Security community, as well as its private sector partners, who are responsible for planning, prevention, mitigation, assessment and response to emergencies and necessary critical infrastructure protection.

The GeoCONOPS is a strategic roadmap to understand and improve the coordination of geospatial activities across the entire spectrum of the Nation: from Federal, to State, and local governments, to private sector and community organizations, academia, the research and development industry and citizens in support of Homeland Security and Homeland Defense (HD).

Brandon LaBonte, ArdentMC President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "This task order is a combination of strategy and technical work continuing efforts to establish a government-wide concept of operations for identifying and using geospatial data in emergencies and expanding the availability of this data through the use of mobile technology. ArdentMC brings significant expertise in these areas and understands the critical benefits the GeoCONOPS program extends to the homeland security community, public and private sectors."
