Saab Expertise to Support the USAF's 3DELRR Program

Saab Defense and Security USA , LLC. (SDAS) will support the U.S. Air Force's next generation Three Dimensional Expeditionary Long Range Radar (3DELRR) System. The 3DELRR contract has been awarded to Raytheon. Saab is a supplier to Raytheon on the program.

Saab has been chosen to support hardware and software development on the USAF 3DELRR program. Being selected for this program further demonstrates Saab's expertise as a major technological provider of ground-based radar systems. There are no new orders placed to SDAS, at present, in relation to the announcement on October 6 .

3DELRR will help defend warfighters against emerging threats by detecting, identifying, tracking and reporting aircraft and missiles with a modern, highly expeditionary air surveillance and theater ballistic missile detection radar.
