Intellicheck Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE MKT:IDN), a global leader in identity solutions and wireless security systems, has been awarded a $247K contract to upgrade the current Defense ID ® system at Fort Irwin National Training Center in California.
“Fort Irwin is a major training area for the United States military. We are grateful that they have seen fit to upgrade their existing Defense ID System technology.”
This upgrade will include an IM3000 Visitor Vendor Center and additional IM2610 handheld identification card readers. With the addition of the Visitor Vendor Center, the base will now be able to issue local access credentials to be scanned at the gate for positive identification of anyone visiting the facility. The award also includes the addition of the Fugitive Finder component, which allows for live National Crime Information Center (NCIC) checks for everyone requesting access to the base.
