ACCEL Flight Simulation to Provide Enhanced Support, Spares and Training Capabilities for Rockwell Collins Visual Systems in China

Customer service experience augmented through local time zone support, native-speaking support representatives and faster turnaround times

ACCEL Flight Simulation has signed a memorandum of agreement with Rockwell Collins to expand its service and support capabilities for Rockwell Collins visual systems customers in China. Signed today at the 2018 China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, the agreement will establish a customer service function to provide local support in the region. This support will include same time zone support, Chinese-speaking service representatives and a reduction of overall turnaround times.

“We’re pleased to support and enhance Rockwell Collins’ service performance in the region from our Tianjin-based operations,” said David Kong, general manager for ACCEL. “The fully-established support program will expand to include visual system operation and maintenance training classes for Rockwell Collins customers and develop a China-based field service engineering workforce to address Rockwell Collins’ growing footprint in China.”

“China is one of the fastest growing markets in the world for commercial simulation and training, and as a result, we’re investing more into the region to significantly improve the customer experience and support available for existing and future customers,” said Nick Gibbs, vice president and general manager, Simulation & Training Solutions for Rockwell Collins.
