SAIC to Manage NASA's IT Infrastructure Under New Web Services Support Task Order

Company to provide web support services, including the deployment and integration of cloud computing services within NASA's existing IT infrastructure

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will now manage NASA’s cloud-based web services under a new task order to provide the agency with various web support services. The task order was awarded under the NASA Enterprise Applications Service Technologies (EAST) 2 Master Agreement. It is worth approximately $58 million and will span roughly seven years, if all options are exercised. The task order will be managed in Huntsville, Alabama, however, work will be performed across the country.

For the Information Technology Infrastructure Integration Program's Web Services Support task order, SAIC will support NASA with its existing agency-wide, cloud-based hosting capabilities. These services include the creation, maintenance, and management of websites, web applications, and other ancillary services.

“We are excited to expand our support to include NASA’s cloud-based web services. Our team is extremely proud of providing mission-critical services to NASA’s centers and missions," said Bob Genter, SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the Federal Civilian Customer Group.
