ORBIT Receives $4.5 M Order for Development and Supply of Communication Management Systems

From a Large International Aircraft Manufacturer

ORBIT Communication Systems Ltd., a leading provider of mission and business critical communication solutions for Land, Sea, Air and Space applications, announced today that it has received a $4.5 million order from one of the largest aircraft manufacturers worldwide for the development and supply of prototypes of an advanced system for the management of aircraft audio communication.

The agreement is long-term. Upon completion of the development and supply of the prototypes, it is expected to bring ORBIT orders for more systems resulting in further income.

The system that will be developed and supplied by ORBIT is an aviation audio-management system designed for aircraft. The system is adapted to a variety of aviation applications and provides a complete solution for audio communication management. It leverages ORBIT’s capabilities to process digital signals and provide high-quality sound, which result in higher-quality communications that improve crew performance and collaboration between crew members.
