CTT Systems Receives 2 Zonal Drying 737NG-800 Aircraft Orders

CTT SYSTEMS (“CTT”) (STO:CTT), the market leader of anti-condensation systems for commercial aircraft and the dominating provider of humidification products for VIP aircraft and the pioneer for cockpit, crew rest and cabin humidification, today announces orders for the Zonal Drying System to be installed, in two B737NG-800 aircraft.

“CTT are very pleased to receive these new orders of the Zonal drying System for the B737NG-800 aircraft. We are pleased that the airlines select the Zonal Drying system to prevent fuselage condensation and a related problem says Peter Landquist, Vice President Sales & Marketing of CTT Systems.

By eliminating condensation in the aircraft both operational and maintenance costs are lowered through:

  • Reduced fuel consumption, i.e. lower aircraft weight of 200-300kg for B737 due to elimination of accumulated water.
  • Improved operational reliability, i.e. less corrective maintenance.
  • Consistent insulation performance, i.e. water reduces insulation performance.

Moreover, the residual value of the aircraft will be protected or even improved due to the reduced corrosive impact over the years. Reduced fuel burn, due to a reduction in the weight of the aircraft, also has a positive impact on the environment.
