Herley Receives a $1.2M From a US Prime Contractor

(Lancaster, Pa., December 7, 2009) -- Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced that it has received a follow-on contract award valued at more than $1.2 million. Herley Lancaster will provide electronic components for helicopter borne radar system for the U. S. Navy.Company CEO and President, Rich Poirier commented, "We are very pleased to be able to support this U.S. prime contract through this multi-year follow-on contract for frequency generators. Herley specializes in the production of complex multi-function assemblies such as the frequency generators required for this radar system at several of our business locations in the United States and in Israel."
