L-3 Coleman Aerospace Launches Hera Rocket

(Orlando, Fla., June 11, 2009) -- L-3 Coleman Aerospace recently launched a successful Hera rocket at Fort Wingate, N.M., as part of the Lockheed Martin-led team for the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA's) Targets and Countermeasures Prime Contract. As a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, L-3 Coleman built and launched the target missile vehicle for the Air Force Space and Missile System Center, the Army and MDA."It is an honor to work with Lockheed Martin, the Air Force, Army, and MDA on this vital testing effort," said Lou Deeter, L-3 Coleman's president.
