Colombian Marine Chooses DCNS

(February, 2009) -- The Colombian Ministry of the defence signed with DCNS a 100 million euro contract for the modernization of the system of fight of the frigates of the class Almirante PADILLAThis contract which joins in the frame and the continuation of an agreement of government to government between France and Colombia, associates DCNS and Thales for the renewal of senseurs and the Combat Management System of four Colombian frigates.
This new success obtained after phases of intense competition, illustrates again the French know-how in modernization at the middle-life with the systems of surface combatants.
