Tetra Tech Wins $500 Million Multiple Award Air Force Contract(PASADENA, Calif., Sept. 29, 2006) -- Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today that it has been awarded a $500 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide the U.S. Air Force with a full range of services to support environmental requirements on government installations, including design-build, restoration and remediation services. The contract will be used to support the Air Combat Command (ACC), the Department of Defense including Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities, and other federal agencies. This is a new contract vehicle for Tetra Tech.
The ACC Design-Build, Restore, Remediate (DBR2) contract will be shared by four large firms and four small businesses over a 10-year period of performance. The work will be awarded under cost-reimbursable, firm-fixed-price, fixed-price-incentive, and time and materials types of task orders.
