Plasan Sasa Wins Contract to Supply Israel Defense Forces With New Personal Protection Solution

( August 16, 2006 ) - Plasan Sasa, a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of combat-proven ballistic armor solutions, announced that it has been awarded the second significant contract this year to supply the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) with an advanced personal protection solution for safeguarding soldiers. This important win positions Plasan Sasa as the major supplier of personal protection products to Israel's Ministry of Defence.

According to the contract, Plasan Sasa will supply the IDF with thousands of units in a project valued at around US$ 1.8 million dollars. Delivery is scheduled for the last quarter of 2006 and the first quarter of 2007.
