( SAN DIEGO, August 7, 2006 ) - SYS Technologies (AMEX:SYS), a leading provider of information connectivity solutions that enable real-time, complex decision-making, announced today that it has received delivery orders totaling $25.0 million from SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston to provide engineering and technical services for Net-Centric Capabilities.
SYS will furnish engineering, architecture, instructional systems design and development, change management and training services necessary to deliver comprehensive Human Systems Integration (HSI) solutions for SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston and its customers. A core competency of SYS, these Net-Centric HSI solutions focus on improving human performance and readiness through Workload Analysis, Process Improvement, Manpower Optimization, Human Factors Engineering, and Advanced Training Delivery Methods/Integrated Learning Environments. The first increment of funding, $1.6 million, which allows the SYS team to immediately begin to deliver these services, was received concurrent with tasking notification.
