Analytic Systems Develops DC/AC Inverters for Northrop Grumman/US Army

(Surrey, BC, Canada) --[ASDWire.com]-- Northrop Grumman (Mission Systems) (NGC) has selected Analytic Systems through their Defense products distributor, to supply 2 specialized COTS military DC/AC inverters, The IPS1000mil-24-110NGC and the IPS300mil-24-110NGC. The IPS1000 inverter was tested through a third party Mil Spec testing agency and meets all the required elements of MIL-STD810 and MIL-STD 461E. The inverters will be used by the US Army for fielding shelters, as part of the Command Post Platform (CPP) Development and Integration program. A larger version within the same footprint, the IPS1500 (1500 Watt) has just been completed as requested by Northrop Grumman.

Valued at up to $400 million over the next five years, Northrop Grumman will develop and field Army command posts, where commanders direct operations and control forces. The CPP provides common command centers with advanced command-and-control hardware and technology to give commanders improved control over their digital forces using Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade-and-Below (FBCB2) and other Army battlefield command systems.
