The Global Military Radar Market 2013-2023
"We have always been extremely competitive under CECOM Rapid Response," stated Michael A. Young, Co-Chairman of ARINC Engineering Services. "Today's R2 vehicle provides funding for some of the military's most advanced and innovative technology--a good match for ARINC's skillset. I'm glad to see us continue our tradition of leadership."
ARINC's R2 funded projects range from avionics and radar development to aircraft modifications and military training support. The CECOM R2 contract can be used by any military service or any federal agency. For example, ARINC's R2 contract is used by the Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-213, to execute the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) Technology Development effort, on which ARINC has been a prime contractor for several years.
Serving the entire Federal Government, the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, is able to award flexible time and material (T&M) and firm fixed price (FFP) task orders through the use of the rapid response competitive award process. The CECOM Rapid Response (CR2) Program streamlines acquisition, enabling any Federal agency to quickly obtain the engineering and manufacturing support needed for new and existing weapon systems, subsystems, platforms, communications, electronic warfare, and information systems.
