Tetra Tech Awarded $20.1M in New BRAC Task Orders under Navy RAC(PASADENA, Calif., April 13, 2006) -- Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEK) announced today that it was awarded $20.1 million in new cost-plus-award-fee task orders to provide technical support and environmental services for Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities under its Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC Southwest) Remedial Action Contract (RAC). The work is expected to be completed by March 2007.
The new task orders include work at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in southeastern San Francisco, California on the San Francisco Bay. In 1989, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency placed Hunters Point Naval Shipyard on the National Priority List for cleanup.
