ST Engineering Completes Acquisition Of SAS Component

(Singapore, 16 March 2006) -- Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced that as a follow up to a previous announcement on 15 December 2005, its aerospace arm, Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace), has completed the 67% acquisition of SAS Component A/S (SASC). The acquisition follows the receipt of regulatory approvals and fulfilment of other closing conditions.

SASC is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. With approximately 1,100 employees, it is a global operator of aircraft components repair, management and logistics, enabling customers to function with a minimum of unscheduled maintenance or repair stops. In addition to the head office, warehouses and repair shops in Copenhagen, it operates large facilities that are located at Arlanda Airport, Sweden, and Gardermoen Airport, Norway.
