Milestone Delivery in Support of USAF Maintenance Program

Triumph Group marked the shipment of the 100th KC-10 Aerial Refueling Boom in support of the U.S. Air Force maintenance program, on August 26. Triumph Group’s Product Support business, based out of Wellington, Kansas, has provided repair and overhaul service on the KC-10 boom since the program’s inception in 1999.

“We are proud of our long history serving the U.S. Air Force KC-10 aircraft program and extremely pleased to celebrate this milestone with one of our most valued patrons,” said Mike Abram, executive vice president of Triumph Product Support. “We also look forward to partnering, in the not too distant future, with L3 Communications in support of the KC-10 CLS program.”

Triumph Group was recently identified as a key teammate by L3 when the company was selected to provide full contractor logistic support for the KC-10. As a supporting partner, Triumph will continue to provide repair and overhaul services for the KC-10 boom and additional components, as awarded.
