Indra is the first Spanish company to gain BS11000 certification for client, partner and supplier relationships identified and managed in the UK . The objective of this British Standard is to support the establishment and improvement of collaborative business relationships to ensure they are effective, optimised and delivering enhanced sustainable benefit to the whole supply chain. BS11000 is being developed into a new international standard – ISO11000, taking it to a global audience.
BS11000 reinforces Indra’s strong client orientation and facilitates access to new clients. Working together in partnership and co-investing with customers are essential pillars for success in Digital transformation programs. BS11000 focus on business outcomes facilitates setting and managing high performance collaborative arrangements including partnerships and alliances.
BS11000 supports Indra with a management framework to establish and maintain effective processes across organization boundaries; to enable value creation and innovation in digital ecosystems and in large and complex technology programs. Its implementation helps to generate commercial, operational and financial value and efficiencies for Indra and our collaborative partners.

Collaborative working has been a key driver for operations in the UK this year where we will commission several transportation control centres in ports, road tunnels and air traffic management.”

Collaborative working has been key to jointly developing and deploying the next generation of air traffic management systems with NATS and partners. In 2016 Indra systems will handle the airspace of Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland and will be extended to the whole En-Route UK Airspace at Swanwick Air Control Centre by 2019. ”
