C Series 1st Delivery Marks Airline Debut of Pro Line Fusion
- Rockwell Collins Primary Flight Control Computer, MultiScan TM weather radar and Head-Up Display also featured on the aircraft
Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line Fusion ® avionics made its airline debut following first delivery of Bombardier’s C Series to Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). The aircraft, which will enter revenue service on July 15, also features Rockwell Collins’ Primary Flight Control Computer (PFCC) , industry-leading MultiScan™ weather radar with predictive windshear and dual Head-Up Display (HUD) .
“SWISS pilots will enjoy flying with the industry’s largest flight displays and find it easier to manage flight operations. In addition, having dual HUD enables both the pilot and co-pilot to keep their eyes outside at critical times, delivering unparalleled safety benefits and more efficient flight operations,” said Craig Olson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins.
