Comtech Telecommunications Received $3.1 M Contract Extension for the US Navy's Advanced TDMA Interface Processor Terminals

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received a $3.1 million contract award extension for additional Advanced Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) Interface Processor (ATIP) production terminals from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).

“Given our validated performance and the Navy’s confidence in Comtech, it will continue the deployment of ATIP throughout its fleet.”

Later next year, Comtech will deliver an Adaptive Coding capability to further improve the AEHF system's performance.

“This is the third year of four planned production awards as the Navy moves forward in modernizing its protected SATCOM systems,” commented Dr. Stanton Sloane, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. “Given our validated performance and the Navy’s confidence in Comtech, it will continue the deployment of ATIP throughout its fleet.”
