Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI), an award-winning IT consulting services firm, today announced that the United States Army Contracting Command has awarded the company the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Hardware (ITES-3H) contract, valued at $5 billion.
A five-year contract available to the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense and other government agencies, the ITES-3H supports enterprise infrastructure with a full range of information technology equipment and solutions for communication and coordination of these federal agencies.
“Adding this Army program to our existing portfolio of Federal business is a significant win for the GTRI team,” said Tom De Angelis, vice president, federal sales, GTRI. “We continue to be selected as a trusted partner to these essential government agencies because we are delivering control even in the most complex of technology programs. We are proud to support the Army and the Department of Defense with our advanced solutions and exceptional support.”
As one of the largest defense contracts expected this year, ITES-3H is in line with the Army’s strategy to consolidate IT purchases into larger performance-based, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. These solutions can include a range of devices, such as workstations, networking equipment, displays, video teleconferencing (VTC) solutions and the related services for their configuration, implementation, maintenance and relocation.
