QSM Awarded Five-Year Army Contract

Quantitative Software Management, Inc. (QSM), a leader in software process improvement and systems development estimation, today announced it has been awarded a five year prime contract with the U.S. Army Cost Center under the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cost and Economics (ODASA-CE).

Under this contract, QSM will provide estimation and tracking assistance to help with early stage identification and mitigation of software program risk. This includes working closely with programming offices to obtain key software inputs, prepping cost estimates, and reconciling and adjusting these inputs throughout the entire software project lifecycle to ensure budgets aren’t exceeded.

QSM has been working with the ODASA-CE since 2004, in which time it has helped achieve significant savings and risk reductions approximated at $750 million.
