Global Military UAV Market Forecast to 2022
Pratt & Whitney Canada is a leading provider of engines for mid-sized jets, including through its established PW300 engine family. Since its introduction 25 years ago, the PW300 has accumulated over 15 million flying hours. Equipped with full authority digital engine control (FADEC) the PW300 powerplant is prized in the 4,700- to 8,000-lb thrust class for its low fuel consumption and sets the standard for environmental friendliness, reliability and economical operation.
Adrian Johnson, Director, Vector Aerospace Engine Services - UK, commented: "We are delighted to offer the PW300 turbofan MRO capability. The overhaul and test capabilities, in conjunction with our mobile repair team capability, further enhances our service offering to our customers operating the PW300. We look forward to serving the needs of these business jet operators around the world, and to working with fixed-base operators (FBOs) to expand our support."
Johnson continued, "Our PW300 DOF authorisation is a testament to the work we have done with Pratt & Whitney Canada over our more than 25-year relationship and to the high level of service we provide to our customers."
