Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, today announced the award of a contract to support the United States Marine Corps Reserve (MCR) Psychological Health Outreach Program (PHOP). This contract has a $16.3 million ceiling value over a one-year base period and four one-year options. As part of Serco's focus on the Defense sector, the Company has supported this program since its inception in 2009.
Under the contract, Serco provides comprehensive support services to Reservists and their Families that include behavioral health screenings and follow-up communications to ensure they have the information and resources needed to enhance their state of wellness. Work will be performed in Devens, MA; Ft. Lewis, WA; Kansas City, MO; Marietta, GA; New Orleans, LA; and San Bruno, CA. Serco performs similar work that supports the United States Navy Reserve PHOP.

PHOP was established to serve USMC Reservists and their Families by providing a safety net of psychological health services. PHOP provides psycho-educational services, behavioral health screenings and tailored resources to ensure full access to government as well as community based services. The program focuses on developing and implementing strategies to successfully connect Reservists with the support services needed to treat stress injuries as soon as possible and improve their quality of life. These services are essential to maintaining a ready military force.
