Boeing, VietJet Air to Collaborate on Fleet Expansion Plans

Boeing [NYSE: BA] and VietJet Air today announced the companies’ intention to collaborate and expand the airline’s future fleet with Boeing airplanes.

The memorandum of collaboration signing event was hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and witnessed by H.E Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of Vietnam Communist Party, along with other Vietnamese and U.S. government officials.

VietJet Air, is a privately held, low-cost airline in Vietnam, with headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.
