Rolls-Royce has signed a long-term TotalCare® service support contract with Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) for Trent 1000 engines that power six Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flg. Off. Mr. Chalermpom Intarawong, THAI, Executive Vice President - Technical Department, said: “We are delighted to once again select TotalCare service support for Rolls-Royce engines, which helps us to maximise aircraft availability and passenger service. The Trent 1000 provides us with the guarantee of outstanding lifetime fuel burn, performance and reliability.”

Dominic Horwood, Rolls-Royce, Chief Customer Officer – Civil Large Engines, said: “THAI is a valued customer with which we share a long-standing relationship. Our TotalCare service will ensure we can provide the best in care for these engines and ensure they deliver the best economic performance.”
